Mia Lam

Hi, I’m Mia Lam, a Hong Kong-born fine artist and researcher currently studying in the UK. I direct an independent, research-driven studio practice that connects multimedia art production with critical theory. Moving between 2D and 3D forms, my work explores how material culture and identity evolve within a globalised economy.

Beyond the studio, my academic focus bridges traditional fine art processes with market analysis. I am deeply interested in how digital growth impacts fine art execution, provenance tracking, and long-term asset valuation in the secondary market. By investigating 20th-century and contemporary art movements, I approach art not only as an aesthetic medium but as an institutional asset within the global art market.
